Section 9. JUDGE ADVOCATE. The Judge Advocate is charged with the legal supervision of Post affairs, and shall audit the financial accounts.
Section 10. MEMBERS-AT-LARGE. The Members-At-Large shall be advocates for the general membership. The Members-At-Large shall be charged with the responsibility to serve as an interface between the Post members and the Executive Committee. The Members-At-Large shall be available to Post members who believe they have issues and recommendations that must be addressed by he Executive Committee. The Members-At-Large must insure that the members are apprised of any actions taken by the Executive Committee on the issues and recommendations brought before it.
The Members-At-Large have a duty to support the general membership in any way that will help make the Post a desirable place to use and invite family and friends to share the facilities.
ARTICLE VI – DELEGATES
Section 1. Delegates and alternates to a Department convention shall be elected by ballot, by the Post at a regular meeting of the Post, to be held at least 20 days prior to the date of such convention.
ARTICLE VII – APPOINTMENTS
Section 1. The Post Commander, immediately upon taking office each year, shall appoint the following standing committees; Membership, House, Finance, Legal, Publicity, Service, Visiting, Americanism and Athletic. Such standing committees shall consist of such members and the Chairs thereof, as designated by the Post Commander.
ARTICLE VIII – STANDING COMMITTEES (amended 7/15/03)
Section 1. MEMBERSHIP COMMITTEE. The Membership Committee shall have charge of all matters pertaining to the membership of the Post, including the procuring of new members, reinstatement and eligibility of members.
Section 2. WORLD WAR II LIAISON COMMITTEE. The World War II Liaison Committee shall oversee all activities of the Post in connection with World War II veterans, their families and dependents.
Section 3. HOUSE AND ENTERTAINMENT COMMITTEE. The House and Entertainment Committee shall have charge of all matters pertaining to the care of the Post Quarters, promotion of club advantages and arrangements for social functions.
Section 4. FINANCE COMMITTEE. The Finance Committee shall be charged with the administration of the financial policy, preparation of budget recommendations and supervision of receiving, disbursing and accounting of all Post funds.
Section 5. LEGAL COMMITTEE. The Legal Committee shall be charged with the legal supervision of Post affairs and audit of Post financial accounts.
